ETF Screener: Value comes in Large Packages
In our weekly review of more than 500 ETF and sector charts, we have identified what we see as an emerging trend. Money is coming out of the hot sectors, Oil & Gas, Utilities, Coal… basically all things energy and moving into all things that were getting killed. All the energy charts look as sick as they have in years.
We see a resurgence in Finance, from Reinsurers to Asset Managers to Banks. The consumer is hot as well. Leisure, Recreation and Household Goods are all charts signaling money is coming in.
As a result of this apparent money in motion, it was no surprise to us to see value stock charts swing into the buy column, especially Large Cap value.
ETF investors looking to move some dollars into Large Cap Value funds should consider Rydex S&P 500 Pure Value ETF (RPV), Vanguard Value ETF (VTV), iShares S&P 500 Value Fund (IVE), SSgA streetTRACKS U.S. Large Cap Value Index Fund (ELV), iShares Morningstar Large Value Fund (JKF) and WisdomTree Earnings Top 100 Fund (EEZ).
