Fannie Mae (FNM) and Freddie Mac (FRE) are getting demolished once again this morning. This is on top of monstrous losses already suffered lately. Resist the urge to bottom fish in these names as the risk is just way too high in order to capture a few percentage points on a rebound. Some sort of bounce is inevitable, but nobody knows from what level. It would be pure gambling to try and game it. Over the long run, this type of dice rolling will lead to financial ruin more often than not. Stick with quality.
